Arabian Business - Dubai real estate: Massive Al Barari mansion sells for $11.4mn

The stunning 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom, 11,646 sq.ft mansion built to super luxury standards is developed by Farah Realty, and was sold by Maria Morris Real Estate

Dubai luxury real estate brokerage Maria Morris Real Estate announced on Wednesday sale of a high-end villa in the city for $11.4 million (AED 42 million).

The turnkey, fully furnished villa is located in Al Barari.

The stunning 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom, 11,646 sq.ft mansion built to super luxury standards is developed by Farah Realty, a distinguished player in the luxury residential real estate market in Dubai. Incidentally, this villa is the first of Farah Realty’s projects to be completed in the UAE, though it has more homes in the pipeline.

Maria Morris said its Private Client Advisor Evern van Niekerk represented the buyer for the deal, while the seller was represented by Andrew Cummings from Knight Frank Middle East.

The transaction further solidifies Maria Morris Real Estate’s reputation as the go-to agency for high-end property transactions in the Al Barari community, having already completed 46 sales and rental transactions in the community so far this year.

The brokerage firm said this custom-built mansion offers a totally bespoke living experience with meticulous attention to detail, including bespoke crystal chandeliers, KNX home automation, Calacatta Oro marble flooring and furnishings from Minotti and Fendi elevating the interiors to unparalleled levels of luxury.

Maria Morris’ Van Niekerk said the demand for turnkey luxury villas is continuing to rise in Dubai, and Al Barari has solidified its position as prime destination, in particular, among international buyers.

“With a multitude of luxury villas set to be completed from now until the end of the year and into Q1 2024, buyers are discovering exceptional value for money in Al Barari’s community, where purchasers are also lured in by the idyllic family community, lush greenery and lakes,” Van Niekerk said.

He said the firm has some great current villa listings in Al Barari, which also includes an exclusive custom-ready villa, “which we anticipate will be the next villa sold in the community”.

Maria Morris, Founder & CEO at Maria Morris Real Estate, the latest transaction is testament to the fact that the firm’s high-net-worth clientele are seeking well-designed, quality villas within the community.

“This also re-affirms the fact that ultra-premium, luxury properties remain the most in demand commodity in the Dubai real estate market amongst local and global buyers, compared with other key global property hotspots such as London, Singapore, Miami and Tokyo,” she said.

The Dubai Land Department report for Q2 this year highlighted that Al Barari continues to see a very positive volume sales growth quarter-on-quarter at 168 percent to reach AED 926 million, and is now further aligning itself at the top tier of Dubai’s renowned super-prime neighbourhoods of Emirates Hills, Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Bay.
